Here is a video tutorial walking you through the steps on how to install Plex onto your computer and appleTV. Plex is a server that allows you to share information wirelessly in your home, it is essentially iTunes with home sharing enabled however you are not restricted to iTunes rules and video formats!
The commands for the videos are as follows and in order.
Command 1:
ssh root@ip address Example ssh root@123.456.7.89
Command 2.
echo “deb http://apt.awkwardtv.org ./” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/awkwardtv.list
Command 3.
echo “deb http://www.ambertation.de ./downloads/PLEX/” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/plex.list
Command 4.
apt-get update
Command 5.
apt-get install plex-client-plugin
Command 6.
killall Lowtide
