New Jailbreak tweak fixes security issues on all iPod touches, iPhone’s and iPad’s jailbroken with Comex’s Jailbreakme tool on iOS 4.3.3.

Ever since Comex’s update to JailbreakMe to bring an untethered jailbreak to the iPad 2 and all other iDevices running iOS 4.3.3, Apple has patched the exploit with two iOS updates.

Comex’s jailbreak used a security exploit which allowed the jailbreak to work because it was disguised as a security update. Apple fixed this in iOS 4.3.4, and added some new SSL fixes in iOS 4.3.5.

Now with a simple tweak you can have that added security of iOS 4.3.5 without wasting your jailbreak by downloading iSSL fix.

Just open up Cydia and search for iSSL fix. If you can’t find it, you may have to change your file view settings to Expert if you are currently on Simple in order to locate the file in a search. This can be done on your iPod and iPhone by going to Manage > Packages, and tapping the Simple button in the top right-hand corner, which will expose the Expert files within Cydia. On your iPad press installed, and on the top right press Simple and it will switch to Expert.
